These medications can be renewed instantly if you have an existing prescription:

Asthma inhalers
Allergy medicines
Blood pressure tablets
Cholesterol medicines

These medications require a consultation and cannot be ordered instantly:

Why these rules exist

Some medicines require regular tests, monitoring or have serious risks. National guidelines require safe prescribing practices.

Consultation fee: I understand the fee covers the doctor’s consultation, review, and advice only. If medication is prescribed, it is paid for separately at the pharmacy.

Accurate information: I confirm I have answered the questions honestly and as accurately as I can. I understand the doctor will review my answers for safety, suitability, and possible interactions, and may contact me if more information is needed. This service does not replace ongoing care with my regular GP.

Restricted medications: I understand some medicines, including opioids and other restricted medications, cannot be issued without an appropriate clinical consultation and assessment. The doctor may need to contact me to confirm details, so it’s important that my information is complete and correct.

What to expect if consultation is needed

You will be asked to book a short phone or video consult. This is usually quick and ensures your treatment is safe.
